Purpose;
Why did I choose Screams Of A Butterfly? I love the band Acid Bath. The song reflects everything about me and this site. I know the song has nothing to do with a screaming butterfly. This site has finally emerged from it's cocoon and been reborn. I am the screaming butterfly. This is a place where i can vent out my feelings. I am not here to please you, I'm here to please myself. i am no longer hiding behind a mask & I haven't been for sometime, for the first time in my life I can actually say that I'm happy, I have learned to deal w/ life, I loooove me! not sarcasm;) My cure is Miguel Angel.
My life has changed so much in the past years, it has changed for the good. This site is also used as a portal for my web/graphic design work.
I chose the new name Stardust :: Her Blood-Engraved Text because the book Stardust by Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite books & I feel that my writing is blood engraved into my being as in the sense that the blood I have in my veins is the ink that I use to write.
New:
I look up to this site, itīs me in a nutshell, it is my personal creation, my little ray of sunshine. This site believe it or not has helped me grow as a person by expressing my thoughts, emotions, & opinions it has helped my wounds heal. Hopefully in the near future I can add songs with my own vocals, so you can hear the siren in me. I donīt make this website to be heard, i make it because it is a reflection of me, because it pleases me in more ways then one can tell. This is also a site about narcissism, & egotism. I speak alot about Miguel Angel, because he is the most important thing in my life, & he damn well deserves to be spoken of.
My creativity strikes me in odd surroundings, sometimes I even build layouts on napkins in restaurants or other public places outside of my house. I have dreams about website layouts, livejournal, & the internet. I have been known to dream with layouts & my livejournal itīs probably because I dedicate so much of my time to both things.
Evolution;
This site is 13 years old it was started way back in 1997 with the name of the.black.rose hosted by hosts such as geocities, tripod, angelfire, & many others. Then it was hosted by impure.org for several years I will never be able to stop thanking Shae & Angel & all the Impure.org hostees, it was my home. I love designing websites, & in a way you can see that maintaning & creating websites makes me sane. I beleived after all the changes that were going on in my life & in the internet world this site needed a new name, & new feeling. I got rid of all the old pieces, lyrics, & everything I felt didnīt belong here anymore. I was listening to Acid Bath one day and said aha! Screams Of A Butterfly has to be the new name, & so it is. After months of searching for a new host I'm back with Shae at www.wickedkiss.org & I am proud to say I can call it my home. I love the finishing product so nothing else matters to me.
